Bring overdue books back under control
If the accounts have not been reconciled, documents are missing, or year-end is approaching, TenjaGo can assess the file and define a catch-up project with a clear period, responsibility list, and completion point.

Common reasons businesses need catch up work
- Several months of bank or credit card activity have not been reconciled.
- Transactions were imported but not reviewed or coded consistently.
- Payroll, loans, sales tax, or intercompany balances do not agree with supporting records.
- The year-end accountant has requested corrections or missing schedules.
- The business is changing bookkeepers and needs a reliable opening position.
How the assessment works
- We confirm the period, entities, accounts, software, filings, and reason for the cleanup.
- We review sample records and identify the information and access required.
- We provide a written scope, assumptions, exclusions, fee, and target schedule.
- After approval, we complete the work and provide an exceptions list or handoff package.
What affects timing and price
The main factors are the number of months and entities, transaction volume, quality of source documents, prior reconciliations, payroll and sales tax complexity, and how quickly questions are answered. We do not quote a cleanup solely from the number of months overdue.
What happens after cleanup
You can continue with TenjaGo's monthly bookkeeping service or take the completed file to your existing provider. If you continue, we use the cleanup findings to set a monthly process that prevents the same backlog from returning.
